Open Class is back for 2026!

Open Class is returning to the Union County Fair! Community members can review the available 2026 Open Class categories and begin preparing their entries. Online entry forms will be available after May 11, 2026.

Important Dates:

  • Entries Open: After May 11, 2026
  • Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 9:00 PM
  • Drop-Off: Saturday, July 25, 2026, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Location: Merchant Building 2
  • Judging: Sunday, July 26, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM
  • Entry Release/Premium Pickup: Sunday, August 2 and Monday, August 3, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Entry Details:
Entry fee is $5 per item. Entries of 6 or more will be capped at $30. Each exhibitor will receive one general admission ticket to the fair. First place payout is $10. One entry per person per class
