There are three classes of scrambles; Chicken (Ages 5 – 8), Sheep (Ages 9-14), and Calf (Ages 15 +.) Each class will have 4 heats of 10 participants.
You must bring a helmet to participate in the events
How it works: With the drop of a hat, animals are released into the arena for youngsters to chase and attempt to catch. The participant who secures and properly halters a sheep or calf and contains it for 30 seconds will be declared a winner by the referee.
In the Chicken scrambles, everyone will receive a free personal pizza from Boston’s Restaurant in Marysville, there will be no 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes. In each heat for the Sheep and Calf scrambles, we pay out cash for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. In the Sheep and Calf Scrambles, 1st place from each heat will participate in the
Champions Heat. The winner of that will be the scramble champion.
